An intergenerational school visit to the newly named Eastbrook School, (previously Fishersgate First School), which participated with its pupils in a community history project in conjunction with Adur District Council and Portslade WRVS. A freelance filmmaker (Si Mitchell) was commissioned by Portslade WRVS and made a beautiful film about the area which featured some of the children and we went to show them the 25 minute film. They wriggled a lot until they saw themselves on screen and then giggled and pointed. It was a lovely afternoon and we hope to keep in touch with the school.
