Local childrens' performances at the Redoubt Fortress

These photographs were taken on the Friday of the 2009 Veterans Weekend event held at the Redoubt Fortress in Eastboune that was organised by WRVS Heritage Plus in association with the Eastbourne Combined Ex-Services Association and the Redoubt Fortress.

The free 3 day event was enjoyed by over 2,000 people over the course of the weekend. On the Friday we held a special event that included specially created performances from local school children. Saturday included a Church Service to commemorate Armed Forces Day followed by entertainment from the In The Mood dancers and the Johnny Spice Orchestra and on Sunday everyone enjoyed 1940's field show style entertainment from USO Shows.
