Homemade remedies of the past

This scrapbook was produced as the result of a 10 week workshop in Hastings on the theme of Old Wives (and Husbands) Tales. Over the course of the workshop, participants met with local poet John Knowles to explore the tales and remedies of the past through the medium of poetry. Along the way everyone had the chance to make and share their own remedies. The memories and poems that arose from these sessions were collected into a scrapbook, some pages of which can be seen below.
